Garib Kalyam Melas, Vikas yatras over, Modi shares figures

While declaring Garib Kalyan Mela and Vanthambhi vikas yatra over, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi today said that the state government has distributed benefits worth Rs 13,000 crore to 85 lakh poor beneficiaries through 1000 Garib kalyan melas.
The CM said that Vanthambhi vikas yatra explored 4200 taluka panchayats witnessing 27000 works worth Rs 30,000 crore. Not only this but 90.000 former panchayat representatives were honored during this drive, and thousands of rural youths were provided computer literacy through Empower drive.
