Keshubhai promises free power, plots, sarees, declares yatra from 27th (Video)

Former Gujarat Chief Minister and Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) leader Keshubhai Patel will explore rural Gujarat from 27th of September with his one-month long election campaign yatra.

GPP’s yatra will move with the slogan ‘Roti, Kapda, Makan, free power to rural Gujarat.’ It will begin from Virpur’s Jalaram mandir. In first phase, the yatra explore Amreli, Rajkot, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Porbandar districts. In second phase it will cover Kutch, Surendranagar and Bhavnagar. Third phase will cover north Gujarat and forth will explore South Gujarat. The yatra will explore central Gujarat in fifth phase and conclude in Amdavad.

Addressing a press conference, the party leaders today in Ahmedabad declared free 110 square yard plots for homeless villagers, free power to 3.5 crore villagers and farmers, 50% relief on irrigation water, and two sarees per year to below poverty line women.

Announcements at glance

-Free power to each and every rural house, school, college, hospital, medical center, kinder garden at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore.

-21 lakh plots, each 110 sq.yard to be allotted under ‘Maru ghar’ scheme.
-A special scheme to address sanitation problem.
