Keshubhai promises free power, plots, sarees, declares yatra from 27th (Video)

Former Gujarat Chief Minister and Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) leader Keshubhai Patel will explore rural Gujarat from 27th of September with his one-month long election campaign yatra.
GPP’s yatra will move with the slogan ‘Roti, Kapda, Makan, free power to rural Gujarat.’ It will begin from Virpur’s Jalaram mandir. In first phase, the yatra explore Amreli, Rajkot, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Porbandar districts. In second phase it will cover Kutch, Surendranagar and Bhavnagar. Third phase will cover north Gujarat and forth will explore South Gujarat. The yatra will explore central Gujarat in fifth phase and conclude in Amdavad.
Addressing a press conference, the party leaders today in Ahmedabad declared free 110 square yard plots for homeless villagers, free power to 3.5 crore villagers and farmers, 50% relief on irrigation water, and two sarees per year to below poverty line women.
Announcements at glance
-Free power to each and every rural house, school, college, hospital, medical center, kinder garden at a cost of Rs 2,000 crore.
-50% relief in irrigation rates.
-Free power to 47 lakh farmers.
-Water recharge movement on public private partnership model. Lakhs of liter water to be stored.
-Each Panchayat will be asked to store grains to provide food to poor and backward people.
-110 yard plot for free to homeless rural people. Upto one lakh Rs loan repayable in 15 installments to build 35 sq.yard house.
-Rs 25,000 margin money aid to homeless family.
-21 lakh plots, each 110 sq.yard to be allotted under ‘Maru ghar’ scheme.
-A special scheme to address sanitation problem.

Ashamed to see Gujarat Politicians also offering freebies this time. This was not case in last 2 elections, it all started with Ghar nu Ghar by Congress, which tried to fool poor in urban cities and offering free plots to those in villages. This cheap step has also compelled Govt. to offer similar freebies seeing peoples queuing to get form for cheap congress schemes. It could have been much better if election was fought on the basis of performance and development and instead of offering cheap publicist dolls, some constructive policy planning by each party. Now Keshubhai, he just is living to provide fun in election every 5 years. Please Keshubhai live your life with some respect and honour at this old age, what is agenda? EC should have some rules to ban such ridiculous promises, has anyone done math how much it would cost to the government to give everything free and from where money is going to come. Kent, I think you don’t know past history of politician. Mr. Keshubahi Patel was never with Congress/ not a congress man. He is “JANMADATA” person of BJP in Gujarat. Not only that he is “GURU” of Mr. Narendrabhai Modi in the field of Politics. Because of the “GURU” Mr. Narendrabhai Modi had so far never speak any thing against Keshubhai Patel. So don’t write anything without knowing actual history.Any body can write any bed thing but writing with good manner will always create value addition.We must be appreciate to Mr. Narendrabahi Modi at least he never use any horrific language against any person and that’s why he is Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Secondly, I think you don’t know the power of Agriculture. If you put one seed in a Agriculture land it will give thousand of seeds return. But if you put one unit quantity /seed in Industries it will never give back same quantity of that unit/seed . If the Narmada Canal work completed within 10 years than the picture of Gujarat was really different than what today we are seeing.
Actually, in a fast growing era only 5 years require for “KHADA PURTI” balance 5 years period entire Gujarat must be developed more than Japan & China. My Dear friend Japan is smaller than Gujarat but development wise bigger than today’s Gujarat. This development of Japan is due to development of Agriculture not because of industries.

Do you know how many CARBON CREDITS gujarat petro-chemical plants earn?? Its because of clear and farsighted vision of sri Modiji… Of course, some gimmicks are unavoidable from his side, because of the nature of the attacks from opposition. These Keshubhais and Modhwadias – they have nothing to lose, neither dignity nor trust of the people – because they have lost all dignity and trust of people… So they can give such promises.
But for Modiji – he has a vision for Gujarat that will make it Top of the World in a few years – he needs to RETAIN the trust, the dignity…
