Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Governor Dr Kamla Beniwal and exchanged pleasantries and staked claim to form government in the state.

Modi submitted the resignation of state’s Council of Ministers to her. He thanked the Governor for her cooperation to the cabinet.

The Governor congratulated Mr.Modi for the victory in Assembly elections.

According to sources, BJP MLAs will meet in Gandhinagar on 25th in presence of central observer of the party Shri Arun Jaitley and elect Modi as Chief Minister. Modi’s oath taking ceremony may take place on 26th.
