Shri Vajubhai Vala was today elected new Speaker of Gujarat assembly for five years unopposed. Shri Modi praised Shri Vala and said that Vala had played various roles during his last 45 years long career. He said Vala played crucial role as a ministers and there are many records that he has created while playing that responsibility. Modi admired Vala’s sense of humor and said he turns tense situation into a lighter one. Modi took a note of the fact that the opposition members supported Vala’s candidature and that he has been elected unopposed. Shri Modi remembered Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary today.
