Panchayat elections: 55-65% polling, results on 19th Feb

The state election commission, Gujarat has declared approximate figures of polling percentages witnessed in two district panchayat and other taluka panchayat elections.
According to this, Kheda district panchayat election witnessed 55% turnout, Banaskantha district panchayat 64% while Gandhinagar taluka panchayat poll witnessed 65% turnout.
The polling process completed peacefully with the use of more than 8500 electronic voting machines.
Counting of votes will take place on Tuesday, 19th February.
