Due to lack of traffic, Deccan Charters Limited (DCL) has taken a decision to stop its daily non-schedule air shuttle service ‘Deccan Shuttles’ connecting Surat and Bhavnagar with immediate effect. The turbo prop aircraft service with nine passengers capacity was started 8 months back. For last some day, the service was not able to attract even a single passenger.
Deccan Shuttles had earlier stopped its services connecting Surat and Ahmedabad, and Surat and Diu due to lack of proper traffic.
The latest and the last flight that has been canceled permanently is Surat-Bhavnagar one. Air Deccan has already informed the Surat airport administration about its decision.
