Anita Karwal is among the officers promoted today

Gujarat government has today promoted seven Gujarat cadre IAS officers of 1988 batch and one IAS officer of 1982 batch to Principal Secretary rank. Secretaries promoted today are Arun Kumar Sutaria, S.Aparna, B.B.Swain, Mukesh Puri, A.K.Sharma, Sanjay Nandan, Anuradha Mall and Anita Karwal.

Shri Arun Kumar S. Sutaria, lAS (RR:GUJ: 1982), Revenue Inspection Commissioner & Ex-officio Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to the pay scale of RS.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3%» (i.e. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Revenue Inspection Commissioner & Ex-officio Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar. The Ex-cadre post of Revenue Inspection Commissioner & Ex-officio Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Sachivalaya Gandhinagar is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.

Aparna, lAS (RR:GUJ: 1988), Secretary to Government, Finance Department (Economic Affairs), Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted as Principal Secretary to Government [i.e. in the pay scale of Rs.67000-79000 (Annual Increment @ 3°1o)] and appointed to continue to function in the Finance Department as “Principal Secretary to Government (Economic Affairs)”.

Shri B.B. Swain, lAS (RR:GUJ:1988), Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, Gandhinagar is promoted to the pay scale of Rs.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3%» (i.e. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, GUjarat Industrial Development Corporation, Gandhinagar. The Ex-cadre post of Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation, Gandhinagar is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.

Shri Mukesh Puri, lAS (RR:GUJ:1988), Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad is promoted to the pay scale of Rs.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3°1o) (i.e. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, GUjarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad. The Ex-cadre post of Vice-Chairman & Managing Director, Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, Ahmedabad is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.

Sharma, lAS (RR:GUJ:1988), Secretary to Chief Minister, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is promoted to the pay scale of RS.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3 %)(Le. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar. The post of Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.

Shri Sanjay Nandan Agrawal, lAS (RR:GUJ: 1988), Commissioner of Persons with Disabilities, Gandhinagar is promoted to the pay scale of RS.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3%) (Le. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Commissioner of Persons with Disabilities, Gandhinagar. The Ex-cadre post of Commissioner of Persons with Disabilities, Gandhinagar is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.

Anuradha Mall, lAS (RR:GUJ: 1988), Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, Gandhinagar is promoted to the pay scale of RS.67000-79000 (Annual Increment at 3%)(i.e. to the rank of Principal Secretary to Government) and appointed to continue to officiate as Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, Gandhinagar. The Ex-cadre post of Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation, Gandhinagar is separately being equated with the lAS Cadre Post of “Principal Secretary to Government”.
