Ahmedabad, 4 May 2013

-Gujarat BJP today held dharna at Ahmedabad’s RTO circle seeking resignation of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Ruddy attended the protest programme. State party president, senior leader Surendra kaka, MP Harin Pathak, city BJP president Rakesh Shah and others also attended the dharna event. BJP’s national general secretary and spokesperson Rajiv Pratap Ruddy said that the UPA govt in centre is functioning thanks to support of 22 MPs of Samajwadi party. The center point of this govt is Sonia Gandhi and PM.BJP will form next government in Delhi. He said Shri Narendra Modi will play major role in change of power in Delhi.

-Two accused of Ahmedabad serial blasts case are arrested by Ujjain Police in Madhya Pradesh. They are Usman and Shahid Nagori. They were held following inputs given by Gujarat Police. Both are to be taken to Ahmedabad.

-First meeting of Gujarat BJP’s new office bearers will be held on Monday, 6 May at Gujarat BJP headquarters at 3.00 pm in presence of state party president, MP Parshottam Rupala, national General Secretary Amit Shah and national joint organization general secretary V.Satish. The meeting will mainly discuss strategy of forthcoming by-elections of four assembly seats and two lok sabha seats in Gujarat.

-Gujarat Congress today said that it will hold an important press conference on Sunday at 5.00 pm at state party headquarters in Ahmedabad. Former leader of opposition Shaktisinh Gohil will address the press meet.

-President of Somnath Trust Shri Keshubhai Patel will perform ground breaking of a new Swastik Plaza shopping centre in Somnath near Lilavati Atithi Bhavan on Sunday morning.

-Gujarat Parivartan Party leader Gordhan Zadafia today announced party’s Lok Vedna Yatra on the issue of water. The yatra will cover the areas of Gujarat. Zadafia in his statement complained that Jaynarayan Vyas and others who contributed to the cause of Narmada project are not invited to Sunday event at Bhadar dam on Narmada issue which is to be attended by Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
