The Civil hospital in Godhra has now a pediatric ward.

An 18-bed ward for children was opened by district Collector on Friday. The children ward has facility of play room and LCD TV. The ward has been constructed at a cost of Rs 15 lakh through district level fund. While four bed are allocated to intensive care, 14 bed are for general treatment. Bed, curtains and furniture has been selected as per the taste of children.

The ward proved blessing for poor people of this tribal district. A woman from Limbodara gave birth to four babies. All of the babies were facing problem of poor weight, and cost of saving them was Rs 6,000 per day. Thanks to a new children ward with ICU facility, babies were treated for free and discharged after nine days of treatment.
