Modi to open first Yoga university in Amdavad

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate Lakulish Yoga University, the first ever such private sector self-financed institution in the country, on May 23, at Chharodi-Ahmedabad, which has been set up by the Surendranagar-based Life Mission Trust.
According to Vice Chancellor-appointed Shri Bansidhar Upadhyay, the University will award full fledged degrees after six semester, three years’ course which is likely to start from 15 June.Professor and lecturers are appointed to subjects like Ashtang Yoga, karma, knowledge, Bhakti Yoga, philosophy, psychology, anatomy, ayurveda and naturopathy.
