-Popular BJP Councillor of Shahpur in Ahmedabad Kaushik Jain was attacked today. He was minorly injured and taken to the V.S.hospital. According to primary details available, one Chandresh Vyas and his son attack Jain, after their illegal construction of store was demolished by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation team following Jain’s complain.

-Over 140 passengers of Ahmedabad-Delhi flight of Air India today morning protested against alleged ill service of flight carrier. First, the flight didn’t take off, and an announcement was made about some technical problem. Then, flight’s air conditioning system ceased working. The angry passengers left the flight and sought refund which created chaos at terminal for some time.

– The Central Bureau of Investigation today questioned the main public prosecutor of the city civil and sessions court, SudhirBrahmbhatt, in connection with the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case. This was the third time, CBI summoned Mr. Brahmbhatt.

-Keshubhai Patel led Gujarat Parivartan Party(GPP) will seek answer from its MLA Nalin Kotadia for Kotadia’s presence in BJP campaign during ongoing by-polls. This decision was taken during a meeting at Keshubhai Patel’s bungalow in Gandhinagar today. The party also decided to hold rasta roko programme on entrances of Rajkot city on 10th of June over the issue of pending crop insurance payments.

-GSEB will declare 12th Commerce board exam results for year 2013 on 3rd June.

-Haryana MP Kuldeep Bishnoi today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Gandhinagar. It was a courtesy visit. Bishnoi is a member of the 15th Lok Sabha representing the Hisar constituency in Haryana. He is son of former chief minister of Haryana Bhajan Lal. He has floated his own party named Haryana Janhit Congress when his father was denied chief ministerial post after 2005 assembly elections. He earlier represented Bhiwani constituency in 14th Lok Sabha.
