Supreme Court gives some relief to P.P.Pandey

Supreme Court bench of justices Gyan Sudha Mishra and Madan B Lokur agreed to hear the plea of Gujarat Additional Director General of Police Shri P.P.Pandey in Ishrat Jahan encounter case. Supreme Court has issued a notice to CBI in this regard.
Shri P.P.Pandey has been declared fugitive by CBI in Ishrat case. CBI had been successful to secure warrant for Pandey’s arrest from lower court.
Shri Pandey has filed Special Leave Petition in Supreme Court to quash proceedings against him in the case.
