Replying to a question on Sushma Swaraj’s absence in public meeting of BJP at Taleigao, after Modi’s installation as party’s campaign committee chief, senior leader Arun Jaitley told a news channel that as there were many BJP leaders going back to Delhi today evening, the flights were overbooked and therefore Sushmaji had to book earlier flight, and she told him about that.

On Modi’s appointment as poll panel chief, Jaitley said that the party president assigns responsibilities to people, and while doing so, he takes broad view. In Modi’s case there was overwhelming response.

Some leading journalists in Goa raised questions over Sushma’s prepone departure. They said Sushma could go back to Delhi in Rajnath Singh’s chartered flight. Her choosing 3.20 pm flight signaled something else.
