Ahmedabad, 13 June 2013
More than ten low lying villages in Madhavpur belt of coastal Saurashtra are facing the problem of water logging due to heavy rain in Porbandar district. Flood waters of Bhadar, Ozat and Minsar rivers have made life difficult in ten villages including Bhad.
Meanwhile, Meteorological centre in Ahmedabad has alerted fishermen and advised them not to go out in the sea during next 24 hours due to possibility of 35 to 45 KMPH wind speed from southwesternly direction. The alert message says that wind speed in squall may temporarily reach 55 KMPH. However there’s no alert for ports.
