Rajkot and Vadodara get new Mayor

Gujarat’s two BJP ruled cities today got new Mayor. In Rajkot, Rakshaben Boliya was elected as Mayor, while Rajbha Zala became new Chairman of Standing Committee. Vinubhai Dhava has been made Deputy Mayor. Babu Udhreja has been made leader of the ruling party while JD Dangar is new Chief whip. Rakshaben is daughter of former national president of Kisan Sangh Shri Kunvarji Jadav. She is from Bharwad community.
In Vadodara, Bharat Shah became city’s new Mayor, while Dr. Hitendra Patel is new Standing Committee Chairman. Seema Gohil has been elected as Deputy Mayor. Nilesh Rathod has been made the leader of the ruling party. Ashok Pardesi has been made Chief whip of ruling party. New Mayor Bharat Shah is known as non-controversial person. He is old party worker.
