School enrollment drive:Modi continues to explore interior villages

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit three interior villages of Mendarda taluka in Junagadh district on the third and the last day of annual school enrollment drive. Shri Modi will visit Chiroda, Samadhiala and Rajesar villages of Mendarda taluka to boost school enrollments on Saturday.
Meanwhile, on second day of three-day long annual school enrollment drive, the Chief Minister visited three interior villages of Sojitra taluka of Anand district in central Gujarat. Shri Modi visited Deva vanta, Bantva and Meghalpur villages and distributed toys, educational tools, Vidyalakshmi bond, books and sweets among children.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister asked villagers to celebrate birthday of local school. He pointed out that schools in these three villages are 100 years old. In an attempt to fight malnutrition, Shri Modi distributed milk cans that are to be used to donate milk to school children. Local dairy will donate certain amount of milk for poor school children, by keeping aside ‘Bhagawan no bhag'(God’s part).
