The historic Ambaji temple is located on the Gabbar hills in Banaskantha district. It is one of the 51 shaktipeeths.
Mukeshbhai walks to Ambaji Mandir from Gandhinagar since last over two decades once ever year. He said there was a time when he was jobless and his financial status was not good. Thanks to Goddess Ambaji today he successfully runs his own construction company(Siddhi group). Mukeshbhai believes that his donations to Goddess Ambaji was minuscule in comparison to the grace she showers on him and other devotees. In 2009, Mukeshbhai had also donated Rs 75 lakh to the Umiya Mata Mahotsav in Unjha.
It should be noted here that a project to convert Ambaji mandir’s top part(60 ft Shikhar with 358 kalash) into golden is going on at present.
