Narendra Modi, Rajnath speak to Uddhav Thackeray on phone

Ahead of the announcement of his name as Prime Ministerial candidate of BJP, Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi on Thursday evening spoke to National Democratic Alliance(NDA) partner Shiv Sena.
Shri Modi had long chat on telephone with Shiv Sena president Shri Uddhav Thackeray.
“Narendra Modi and Uddhav Thackeray had long chat on telephone and the discussion ended on a very good note,” Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena MP and spokesperson said.
Sanjay Raut today said, “Udhav Thackeray has spoken to Modi last night and has congratulated him. We are backing Modi. It is time for the Congress to go and the NDA to come to power.”
Rajnath speaks to Uddhav
BJP president Shri Rajnath Singh today spoke to Shiv Sena Chief Shri Uddhav Thackeray on phone and informed him about party’s decision to declare Shri Modi as BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate. Shiv Sena and Akali Dal are BJP’s partner in NDA. Both parties have given their consent for announcement of Shri Modi as Prime Ministerial candidate. Thus Mr. Modi is all set to emerge not just as a Prime ministerial candidate of BJP but NDA.
