Power and automation technology group ABB has commissioned two new manufacturing plants for power products in India at Savli close to its existing facility in Vadodara.

The transformer factory will focus on the production of dry type and oil immersed distribution transformers range up to 10 megavolt amperes (MVA), 36 kilovolts (kV). It will enhance ABB’s offering in India and also extend the distribution transformer range.
