Gujarat consumers to get cheaper gas from today midnight

As per the court order, after much delay, Gujarat has started getting supply of gas for rate at par with other states today from the Gas Authority of India Limited(GAIL) at Dahej.
With this fresh development, gas consumers in Gujarat will start getting cheaper gas from midnight today.
As many as 2,35,000 CNG using vehicles and 12,30,000 PNG using houses will benefit from this development.
Existing rate of CNG per kg in Gujarat is Rs. 66.30. The new rate will be Rs. 56.20. New rates will result into per day savings of Rs. 40 lakh in Gujarat for CNG vehicle owners.
Home users(PNG) will get upto 36 SCM gas for Rs. 23.50 per kg and beyond that at Rs. 30.55 per kg.

Sabarmati Gas: Rs. 68.80 to Rs. 58.70
GSPC: Rs. 66.80 to Rs. 56.20
