Sardar Modi

Ahmedabad, 23 February 2014
It was not the first rally Narendra Modi was addressing in Punjab, and therefore the point of discussion was not ‘Modi in Punjab’. The point of discussion today was Modi’s dressing in Punjab. Modi was wearing saffron color Sikh turban today while delivering a speech at Jograon(Ludhiana) in Punjab. He was looking exactly like a Sikh banda or Sardar!
Immediate reactions on social media sites were amusing. People started calling him ‘Sardar Narinder Singh Modi’ on twitter. Some called him ‘Asardar Modi’. Some posted his photo of emergency days when he had adopted Sardar get up. Some said he would prove real Sardar compared to fake MMS. Then there was a tiny anti-Modi brigade too which raised a question that why Modi didn’t wear skull cap then?
