BJP files complaint against Madhusudan Mistry in EC

Gujarat BJP has filed complaint in the Election Commission against Vadodara Lok Sabha seat Congress candidate Madhusudan Mistry for violation of model code of conduct.

The complaint draft submitted by Parindu Bhagat, Convener, Election Legal Cell, Gujarat BJP reads: Shri Madhusudan Mistry is a candidate setup by the Indian National Congress for 20-Vadodara Parliament Constituency. During his election campaign he has printed and publishes a pamphlet printed through Jay Printers Vadodara in quantity of 10,000. This is with Photographs of Shri Madusudan Misrty, Smt. Sonia Gandhi & Shri Rahul Gandhi. It is his official election campaign material. He has made various allegations against Shri Narendra Modi candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party for the same constituency. Out of these the highlighted point in which he has alleged :

“Sadachar ni Salah Lekin khud (Himself) Durachari. Pahele Sambandh Bandhe aur badme Jasusi aur Telephone tapping.”

This is primafacy and apparently allegation of the natural of personal and character, which leads to an offence under the R. P. Act as well as under various provisions of I.P.C. Your office must be aware of our complaint dated 13.04.2014 regarding the personal and character allegations made by Madhusudan Mistry for Smt. Susma Swaraj. Thus Shri Madusudan Mistry is habituated to use vulgar language in his election campaign. His not keeping the decorum of Women respect.

BJP has enclosed copy of the pamphlet with its complaint and requested to take the immediate and prompt action which may experienced Mistry the strength of the model code of conduct and thus appropriate action taken by your respected office.

Update:

A police complaint has been filed against Madhusudan Mistry in Manjalpur police station for violation of public notification. Jay Printers has been also named in the complaint.
