Central Water Commission monitors live storage status of 85 important reservoirs of the country on weekly basis. Here is the table of current reservoir level(m), current live storage(BCM) etc details on 10 important reservoirs of India.

As per the CWC report, the basin wise storage position is better than normal in Ganga, Indus, Narmada, Tapi, Mahi, Godavri, Mahanadi. The position is close to normal in Sabarmati and Rivers of Kutch. Deficient situation prevails in Cauvery and West flowing rivers of south. Highly deficient one is Krishna river.
