7 demands Gujarat ministers made before union HRD minister today

Ministers Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Vasuben Trivedi and Nanubhai Vanani today called on union HRD minister Smriti Irani in Delhi. Following are the demands they made before union minister:
-Improvement in SSA and RMSA schemes of central government.
-Central university status to Vadodara’s MS University.
-National identity of Indian Institute of Teachers Training
-Approval to 8 new Navodaya schools in specific districts.
-Aid from Government of India under multi-literary funded integrated quality project to execute biometric based attendance system, PPP, identity cards to schools, initiative of virtual class rooms etc.
-Allocation of 7 DTH channels for pilot project of virtual classroom and related technical and financial assistance.
-Improvement in mid-day meal scheme to scale up the level of nutrition among students.
According to Gujarat government release, union minister Smriti Irani gave assurance that her ministry will look into the demand to give central university status to MS University, Vadodara. IAS Jayanti Ravi was part of the Gujarat delegation.
