Continuing Shri Narendra Modi’s legacy, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today performed shastra pujan (worship of weapons) at Chief Minister’s official residence in Gandhinagar today.

Anandiben worshipped sword as symbolic puja and also performed aarti of guns used by her security staff.

Anandiben’s personal security staff was present on this occasion. Some of them were here with their family.

On her Facebook post, Anandiben said: I performed traditionally shastra pujan today in presence of police and security staff on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi today. Weopan is integral part of security person’s life. Satrapujan tradition gives message to use weapons only for good of humanity.
