CM opens development projects in Rajkot

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today dedicated Pradyumannagar police station’s new building in Rajkot. She also dedicated city police welfare operated petrol pump and police training centre.

Gujarat Rajya Police Avas Nigam has built this two-floor 813.51 sqm police station in 13 months at a cost of Rs. 1.16 crore.

Anandiben also opened Rs. 272 rore Agriculture Produce Market Committee(APMC) building in Bedi near Rajkot. The market yard has been named after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Chief Minister stressed on need to strengthen APMCs with support of computer labs, laboratories and latest research. APMC donated Rs. 11 lakh fund to Mukhyamantri Swachchata Nidhi.

Porbandar MP Vitthal Radadia who had in past made allegations of corruption in construction of this market yard was absent in this function, but his son and minister of state in Gujarat government Jayesh Radadia attended the function and admired new facilities developed in this market yard complex. Laljibhai Savalia, Hardevsinh Jadeja, ministers Nitinbhai Patel, Babu Bokhiria, Govind Patel and others were present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Anandiben also dedicated Rs. 2.44 crore Ayurved hospital with 50-bed and 10-special room facilities spread over 2449 sqm area.

Chief Minister honored three Vaidyas on this occasion. She said this Ayurved hospital in Rajkot will serve citizens of 1,000 villages from 16 talukas of Rajkot and Morbi districts.
