335 tribals from Dharampur,Kaprada,Selvas area return to Hindu faith

335 tribals who were earlier converted to Christianity by Christian Missionaries and their evangelists on Sunday reconverted to Hindu faith in Dharampur/Barumal belt of Valsad district.
Ghar Vapsi event in this connection was held in presence of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Shri Vidyanandji Maharaj at Bhavbhaveshwar Mahadev mandir by Valsad district Dharma Jagaran Vibhag.
Those who returned to Hindu faith include 75 members from 41 families of Kaprada taluka, 35 members of 16 families from Gundiya village of Dharampur taluka, 25 members from 12 families of Tamchhadi village, 166 members of 70 families from Selvas area – in total 335 members of 139 families.
While 75 members from Kaprada took bath at hot water stream near Kaprada, the others took bath at their house before reconverting to Hindu faith.
Vidyanandji Maharaj administered pledge and presided religious ceremony for reconversion.
The event could be successful with efforts of Valsad district Dharma Jagran Vibhag president Chetanbhai Prajapati, Dharampur taluka’s Ashwin K Patel, Parimal Garasia, Haribhai Lakshmanbhai, Raghu Bhagat, Gorisava(Selvas), Tapan Kapadia(Dharampur), Uttambhai(Kaprada) etc.
