Gandhinagar, 27 November 2014
BJP MLA elected from Rajula constituency Shri Hirabhai Solanki who also heads an outfil called ‘Koli Sena’ today met minister and state BJP general secretary Shri Vijaybhai Rupani in Gandhinagar and made representation on the need to place Koli community members in government and party organization on higher posts.
Hirabhai Solanki wanted to meet the Chief Minister, but he was asked to meet Vijaybhai Rupani. As he insisted to meet the Chief Minister, he was given a date of 2 December. Accordingly he is likely to meet the CM on 2nd December.
Hirabhai is upset with the BJP after he was not inducted as minister during recent expansion of Anandiben Patel cabinet.
He expressed displeasure in the media by complaining that Koli community has not been given enough representation either in the government or in party when it comes to higher posts.
However none of the Koli community MLAs or MPs or other prominent leaders of BJP or other party including Hirabhai’s elder brother and minister of state Parshottam Solanki are in support of Hirabhai. None of them attended a sammelan called by Hirabhai recently in Bagodara.
