An American motel manager Vendi Johnsan(40) from Indiana state, came to rural Gujarat and married her Facebook lover Ketankumar Kantilal Patel(35) on Monday.

About 6 moths back, Ketanbhai who is farmer in Vaghecha village became friend of Vendy on Facebook. Ketanbhai bumped across Vendy’s profile while accessing Facebook profiles of his old village friends settled in America.

Later Ketanbhai and Vendy started communicating with each other through chatting and phone conversations.

On 26 November, Vendy arrived in India and gave surprise to Ketanbhai. She spent two-three days with Ketanbhai and liked her nature. With approval of their families, Vendy married Ketanbhai in Vagheshwari mandir of Vaghecha village on the bank of river Tapi.
