Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel on Saturday opened 11-day long Winter Festival at Gujarat’s only hill-station Saputara in tribal populated Dang district.She also launched a website showcasing Dang district’s journey of development and its natural beauty.

In her speech she said that tribals were treated just as vote-bank by previous governments in power, but it was Narendrbhai Modi who as a Chief Minister sparked off hunger of development and light of education to tribals.

The Chief Minister will on Sunday, 21 December attend various programmes in tribal populated Dang district of southern Gujarat.

Anandiben will lay stone for Kumar-Kanya hostel at Pimpri in the morning. She will later dedicate Annapurna Bhawan and Prarthanalaya(prayer hall) to tribal students.

She will also open flower show organized by district administration and forest department.
