Do hard work first, expect favor of God only then-after:Morari Bapu

On first day of his Ram Katha in Vadodara, Shri Morari Bapu told a story to convey a message that, one should to do lot of hard work, give his best, and then only rely on God to fulfill his wish.

Morari Bapu said: a bhakta would visit Hanuman mandir every Saturday and offer sindur to Hanumanji. He would request Hanumanji to make him winner of Rs. 10 lakh lottery. When he completed 40 Saturdays and again demanded same, Hanumanji slapped him.
Bhakta in complain tone told Hanuman dada, “it’s fine if you don’t want me to win lottery, but at least don’t slap me!”

In response, Hanuman dada said, “not forty, you needed just one Saturday visit to have my blessing for winning lottery, but at least you should purchase a lottery ticket first. Do you want me to purchase a lottery ticket too for you?”

Morari Bapu in conclusion said, “people are not ready to do hard-work, and just want to rely on God to grant their wishes!”

Morari Bapu described Vadodara as Vad-Udar( ‘vad’ means banyan tree and ‘udar’ means stomach) and said it’s a city with huge stomach. He remembered Gaekwad government, Dongreji Maharaj, Vinoba Bhave, Arvind who were connected to this city.

Morari Bapu’s katha event was attended by state minister and local MLA Saurabh Patel, Mayor Bharat Shah, city BJP president Bharat Dangar, district collector Dr. Vinod Rao, municipal commissioner Manish Bhardwaj and host Doshi family among others.
