AMA Ahmedabad to have Japan Information & Study Centre

Ahmedabad has now a unique and first of its kind in the country Japan Information & Study Centre.

The centre located at Ahmedabad Management Association(AMC) was today previewed to media persons by President of Indo Japan Friendship Association Shri Mukesh Patel and President of Ahmedabad Management Association(AMA) Shri Pranav Adani.

The centre is being set up with the support of leading Japanese Companies, Mitsubishi Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. and Metal One Corporation India Pvt. Ltd.

The Centre, is being set up with the objective of furthering Indo-Japanese relations on academic, business and cultural fronts between Japan and India, aims at encouraging and promoting study and learning of Japanese language, art, literature, history, culture, traditions, business, economy, management and diverse aspects relating to Japan.

The centre is equipped with a state-of-the-art Japan library, having reference books, journals, audio-visual learning aids, films, digital viewing facilities, industry-business information, language learning resources, etc. The Centre will endeavor to connect with different parts of Gujarat and India through video conferencing and other innovative methods of distance learning.

The Centre will formally inaugurated on 10 January 2015 by Education minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama in presence of Consul General of Japan at Mumbai Mr. Yoshiaki Ito as Chief Guest, Mitsubishi Corporation India Pvt. Ltd CMD Masakazu Sakakida and Metal One Corporation India Pvt Ltd CMD Daisuke Kadono as guest of honours.
