Hindi film acress Juhi Chawla today arrived at Sardar Patel airport in Ahmedabad. She said she was here to attend the concluding function of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015 which is going to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

She said, “my father-in-law Mahendra Mehta is one of the awardees to receive Pravasi Bharatiya award today. I am here with my husband Jay Mehta to attend the function.”

On the second and the last day of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2015, the Vice President of India Shri Hamid Ansari(who also heads a committee that decides the names of awardee) is going to present Pravasi Bharatiya Divas award to following NRIs: Mala Mehta, Donald Rabindernath Ramotar, Rajaram Sanjaya, Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi, Rajmal Parekh, Duraikannu Karunakaran, Esspo Goolam Pahad, Shah Bharatkumar Jayantilal, Ashraf Parakunmummal, Mehendra Nanji Mehta, Prof Nathu Ram Puri, Lord Raj Loomba, Satyanarayan Nadella, Dr Lulla Kamalesh, Dr(Mrs) Nandini Tandon.

Of them Satyanarayan Nadella will be unable to attend the function.

Mahendra Mehta, father-in-law of Juhi Chawla is son of legendary Nanji Kalidas Mehta who traveled to African subcontinent and established a business empire there.
