Whatsapp’s availability on web is talk of the town.

And here is a short and simple guide on how to get WhatsApp on computer.

First of all you need to have Google Chrome browser installed in your computer, and you should also have the latest version of WhatsApp Messenger available in your smart phone. If you don’t have latest version, just go to google play store(android) and update the version.

Once you make sure that you have updated and latest version of WhatsApp Messenger installed in your phone, you then need to open WhatsApp and press left button on the downside of your smartphone to open the menu that will show following options:

NewChat
New Group
New Broadcast
WhatsApp Web
Contacts
Settings
Status

Remember if you have the latest version of Whatsapp updated in your mobile, then only you will find this fourth option of ‘WhatsApp Web’ which is necessary to open WhatsApp on desktop.

Now you are ready to touch ‘WhatsApp Web’ to proceed further.

But before that, do open Google Chrome browser in your computer and go to this URL: https://web.whatsapp.com/

You will see a code graphic there.

Now coming back to smartphone. Do touch ‘WhatsApp Web’ in menu of WhatsApp Messenger in your smart phone and there will be a square frame visible. Take that frame over computer screen where square code graphic is available in google chrome browser at this address https://web.whatsapp.com.

Just do this and, as soon as your mobile phone camera recognizes the code on your computer screen, in a few seconds you will get WhatsApp opened in Google Chrome browser on your computer screen.

You can do all the things on desktop version, ditto what you do in mobile version of WhatsApp. Sending photo, voice note, incoming alert(if you wish) everything is there.

However please note that this sync between phone and desktop(to say precisely Google Chrome browser) will be available only till the time you have internet connected to your phone and computer. So if you put off wifi and operator data both in your phone, sync will be lost.
