GoI despatches 2259.19 thousand Metric tonnes Urea for Rabi crops

Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has today announced the data about the supply and availability of Urea in the country.
The statement issued by ministry states: “For the Rabi crop 2014-15, the all-India requirement of Urea for January, 2015 has been assessed as 2941.54 thousand Metric tonnes. Against this, there is a supply plan of 2959.20 thousand Metric tonnes in the country.”
The statement further reads: “Total despatches have been 2259.19 thousand Metric tonnes upto 26.01.2015, while the availability of Urea, including the opening stock as on 26.01.2015, is 2402.61 thousand Metric tonnes.”
