Surat city police is going to organize the third edition of Surat Night Marathon on 28th February this year. Surat Police intends to generate fund through this event for CCTV cameras and assistance to cancer patients.

Surat Police had organized first night half marathon in 2013 and became second city after Banaglore to organize such an event. After overwhelming response to the first edition of night marathon, Surat police had organized second edition with seven categories including professional half and full marathon, Surtilala fun run, and spirit of Surat run.

This year’s night marathon will begin from VIP road and pass through Govardhan Haveli, Athwa gate, Rahulraj mall before it completes at VIP road.

The winners will get prizes worth Rs. 12 lakh.

Famous stars of Bollywood will arrive at VIP road to cheer the participants.
