Hindi film actress Sonam Kapoor was today taken to Mumbai for further treatment of Swine Flu. Sonam was admitted to Sterling hospital in Rajkot yesterday after she was found suffering from Swine flu through laboratory test.

Sonam Kapoor was already unwell when she arrived at Rajkot. She had in fact went back to Mumbai for medical treatment for one day and returned to Rajkot for shooting of Surat Barjatya directed ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’.

It is believed that Sonam’s trainer is also down with swine flu.

Yesterday, Sonam’s mother Sunita Kapoor arrived at Rajkot to look after Sonam who was kept in isolation to prevent further spread of infection. Today at around 8.00 am Sonam was taken to Mumbai by air ambulance arranged by Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor.

The government medical team yesterday rushed to Chotila and Gondal to conduct survey and tests of persons who came into contact of Sonam Kapoor in recent hours. Chotila based Jalaram Mandir Mahant, actor Salman Khan were also checked for any symptoms of illness, however they were found normal.

The shooting of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is being held at Gondal palace. However for a day the shooting also took place at Chotila based temple. Chotila and Gondal both are located near Rajkot which is considered capital city of Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
Shooting in Gondal was scheduled to complete in second week of March.

Updates: Sonam Kapoor has been admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai. Shooting of film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has been halted in Gondal.
