Gujarat government spokesperson minister Nitin Patel today said that the state government will give relief to farmers hit by unseasonal rain on Sunday as per the rules.
He said Chief Secretary had convened a meeting on Sunday and ordered survey of damage to crops due to rain.
Patel said he has received details that if rain continues on Monday the damage will be higher, but if there’s sun light on Monday, the damage would be very less.
It should be noted that on Sunday, areas of Saurashtra, north Gujarat, central Gujarat and south Gujarat – nearly entire Gujarat received rains upto 2 inch.
