3 out of 11 corporations under Gujarat government’s industry department are making loss.

As per Chief Minister’s written reply in assembly, Gujarat Hathshal and Hastakala Nigam made Rs. 1.32 crore loss in 2012 and Rs. 2.46 crore loss in 2013.

Finance Corporation made Rs. 113.16 crore and Rs. 112.78 crore loss in year 2012 and 2013.

Industrial Corridor Corporation made Rs. 18.16 lakh loss in 2012, but made Rs. 6.69 lakh profit in 2013.

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation(GMDC) made Rs. 600.94 crore profit in 2012 but in 2013 it dropped to Rs. 439 crore.

Gramodhyog Bajar Nigam made Rs. 3.70 crore profit in 2012 which increased to Rs. 4.44 crore in 2013.

Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation(GIDC) made Rs. 203.87 crore profit in 2012 which increased to Rs. 205.85 crore next year.

Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation also made jump in profit fro Rs. 5.34 crore in 2012 to Rs. 20.66 crore in 2013.

Gujarat Tourism Corporation Limited made Rs. 35.76 crore profit in 2012 which was down to Rs. 32.58 crore next year.
