In photos: A new campus of Gujarat Forensic Science University

Gujarat caters to the first of its kind University dedicated to Forensic & Investigative Science, education across the country. The foundation of Gujarat Sciences University was laid by the Prime Minister of India and the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi, on the 10th of October, 2011.
The vision of the university is to fulfill the acute shortage of Forensic experts, to strengthen the Criminal Justice Delivery System and make this world a better place to live. Through this university they want to do research in the area of Forensic Science, Crime Investigation, Security, Behavioral Science, Criminology and impart high quality education.
Gujarat Forensic Sciences University has a Hi-Tech Green Campus with State Of the Art Infrastructure. The University has a Green and Environment friendly campus where 70% of electricity is generated by Solar Panels, centrally air conditioned class rooms with LCD and computerized boards, highly secured campus with CCTV Cameras and Access Cards and WiFi connectivity with CAT 7A networks.
The first batch is graduating, on 29th April, 15. Smt. Anandiben Patel – Chief Minister, Gujarat is the Chief Guest and Shri Rajnikant Patel, Minister of the State for Home will be present for the Convocation as Guest of Honor.
