Dahod to get Kadana water now as pending railway approval arrives

The task of supplying Kadana dam water to district headquarters Dahod was on halt for last some time, however, the Ratlam DRM Railway Division has finally given approval, and it is believed that in couple of months, Dahod will start getting Kadana water.
Following Railway Ministry’s approval, Ratlam Railway division will give estimate. After estimated amount is deposited, the approval will be considered final. This task will take one month period, after which big pipelines will be tested. Later the pending work of station road area will be completed after which Dahod will start getting Kadana water.
Four years ago then Chief Minister Narendra Modi during his speech in Dahod on 1st May Gujarat day had made announcement on Kadana dam water supply to Dahod city. Later pipeline laying work in city and outside the city on Kadana-Dahod 87 km route was completed, but railway approval for pipeline laying between Engineering college to Bus-stand area within city was pending. With approval of pipeline laying task, Dahod will get Kadana water, and at the same time station road of Dahod will also get new look.
