New tourist facilities dedicated at Mandvi beach in Kutch

Rs 74 lakh beach refreshment facilities were dedicated at Mandvi beach in Kutch district of Gujarat on Tuesday. It includes cafeteria, bathrooms(21 for women and 21 for gents) that shall be chargeable at Rs 20 and 40 umbrella tables. A 2,000 sq m area has presence of 16,000 sq ft cafeteria/restaurant that can accommodate 160 persons.
On this occasion, minister of state and local MLA Tarachand Chheda said that Mandvi will be connected to Narmada water express pipeline from Mangvana village that has been already approved by the government.
He said, parking problem for visitors to Mandvi beach will be resolved once the forest department allocates some land for that. A proposal is pending before the Forest department at present.
The facilities dedicated on Tuesday are set up with the help of Gujarat Municipal Finance Board.
