Misbah Quadri and IITM: #Prestitutes again trending on social media

By Rupang Bhatt, Ahmedabad

After Misbah Quadri story of ‘discrimination to Muslims’ turned out to be fake( Read the articles: 1, 2, 3, 4) the main stream media has today floated another narrative of ‘injustice to students group in IIT Madras for criticizing Modi’.

Some facts gathered from someone inside the IITM via social media are narrated below:

IITM students group called Ambedkar Periyar Group is not being punished for criticizing Modi. They are just punished for pointing out casteist biases. Formatting caste hatred may be the part of curriculum at JNU(Jawaharlal Nehru University, a den of leftists that support freedom of Kashmir, Naxal activities and lot more), not at IITM.The group came in operation around April last year.

Director of IIT Madras is a very good academician. All the very reason why commies on campus are doing nautanki. Too many times, dean has warned about banning any activity in campus which promotes any kind of hatred. This group’s sole aim is that.

IIT, Madras doesn’t allow registration of groups which have political motives. Some students tried to register ABVP too. They were denied. Institute campus is not for someone’s juvenile politics. This group is typical communist with sole aim to create tension among students.

If you meet humanities students in IIT Madras, you realize they are same as JNU…….Marxism-feminism-socialism, pro-Palestine blah blah.

One should check out what assurances ISKCON students had to give when they were registering a group called Dhruva at IITM.

Ambedkar Periyar group members were openly putting posters for beef consumption. Posters were talking about institute’s mess food policy. Institute mess does not serve beef and one is not allowed to cook food in hostel.

There is a code of conduct which one agrees to comply, the moment he/she joins the institute. Those running Ambedkar Periyar group defied it.

New Delhi

Some students of IIT Madras are believed to have accused the Ambedkar Pariyar group of trying to dealign SC and ST students and being politically motivated.

An anonymous letter was written by these students which was forwarded to IIT Madras last week.

The HRD Ministry has termed the allegations “unfortunate” and that IITs were never used for such purposes”, the copy of the letter forwarded to the institute for comments said.

Sources said the ministry’s view may have weighed heavily on the mind of IIT Madras’ administration while derecognising the group.

Making a scathing attack, the letter alleged the group is distributing controversial posters and pamphlets in the campus.

The group it said is trying to “de-align the SC and ST students”.

“They are also trying to create hatred against the prime minister and the Hindus,” the letter said, adding “We believe this group is politically motivated and is getting funds and encouragement from some outside organisation.”

The letter also alleges that some higher authority people are also supporting them.

“They (the group) are using IIT Madras as a stage as a publicity.”
