FM radio service for farmers to go on air at Junagadh from tomorrow

Community radio service for farmers will start functioning at Junagadh Agriculture University in Gujarat from Tuesday, June 23. Union Minister of State for Agriculture Shri Mohanbhai Kundaria will inaugurate the services of this community radio station at 11:30 am.
According to Prof VM Bhatt, the radio service is going to start functioning under guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr AR Pathak. He said the 91.2 FM radio service will be availabel in Junagadh city and 15 km of surrounding area covering 70 villages.
The main broadcast will take place at 7.30 am daily. Repeat telecast will be available at 1.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
In initial phase, programmes on horticulture, animal husbandry, education, research, literature, culture, fok art, health etc subjects will be available to listeners.
MoS Agriculture Jashabhai Barad, MP Rajesh Chudasaa, folk star Bhikhudanbhai Gadhvi among others will remain present during the opening of this radio service.
