Royal family of Kutch resolves its property dispute

It is learnt that Royal family of Kutch has come to amicable solution over years long property dispute. The property dispute has been sorted out after three and half decades long legal battle. The Supreme Court of India had appointed retired judge Ravindran to mediate and resolve the property dispute. After two meetings in Delhi and three in Mumbai in presence of Justice(retired) Ravindran, solution has arrived.

It is learnt that Pragmalji third has got Vijay Vilas palace(Mandvi). Pragmalji third and his brother Bhupatsinh have got Ranjit Vilas palace on College road, Bhuj. Maharaj Kunvar Hanuvantsinh has got Kotadi baug at Patvadi naakaa in Bhuj. Pragmalji third’s two sisters have got the portion of Prag Mahal and Aina Palace campus but not Prag Mahal and Aina Palace. Sharad Baug, Aina Mahel and Prag Mahel will continue to remain with trust.

In 1980, then prince Pruthvirajsinh(Pragmalji third) had filed case against his father Maharao Madansinhji. Later Madansinhji had made his will which was also challenged by his son Pragmalji third. Madansinh’s two sisters had filed case against Maharaj Kunvar Hanuvantsinh. The case was fought in High Court and later Supreme Court.
