Rajkot to get Science City

The city of Ratkot is likely to get Science City.
It is learnt that District administration of Rajkot has allotted 10 acre land at Ishwaria wild valley flower park to set up Science City.
Local MLA and Minister of State Govind Patel had made proposal before the state government to develop Ahmedabad like Science City in Rajkot. This proposal was approved and in related development, the local administration was asked to allocate land.
It is also learnt that district collector is in process to make a project report, monitoring of which has been assigned to additional resident commissioner Harshad Vora. The piece of land has been surveyed and its report has been sent to Science and Technology department, Government of Gujarat.
