30 reservoirs filled with 70% water, Gujarat CM reviews situation

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today evening held a review meeting on present situation of rainfall across the state.
She was briefed that in entire state there’s not a one single taluka without rainfall.
Narmada dam is having 1,34,000 cusec inflow of water on Monday evening. The dam site is now generating 900 MW hydro power. In this connection, the Chief Minister received details on status of water release in canals.
49 reservoirs across the state have received fresh water, 30 of them are filled with 70% water. This storage of water will be useful in coming months.
