BJYM to launch four-month long ‘Panch Kranti’ programme

New Delhi

The Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM), BJP’s youth wing, will launch four-month long ‘Panch Kranti’ programme from next month to popularise the flagship programmes of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government.

The programme, in which BJYM members, will create awareness about various aspects of Nirman Kranti (Make in India), Kaushal Kranti (Skill India), Swachch Bharat Kranti (Clean India), Kanya Shakti Kranti (Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign), and Yog Kranti (Yoga) — considered to be flagship programmes of the NDA government.

“The programme has been drawn with an intention to reach 10 million people across the country. It will start from September 11, the day when Swami Vivekanand gave his historic speech in America, and continue till January 12 next year.

“We also intend to popularise the programmes of the Central government,” BJYM President Anurag Thakur said.

Speaking at a day-long interactive session held at the party headquarters with young volunteers across the country, BJP general secretary Ramlal also emphasised on popularising the Centre’s flag programmes like the Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojana, accident and health insurance.

“The health insurance costs just Re 1. You can gift it to needy ones. Our target is 11,000 people every assembly constituency, but during poll time you can also take it to 50,000. Your job is to ensure whatever schemes that are there…people should know about it and benefit from them,” he said.

BJP vice-president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe said due to limited constrains of the government machinery in popularising the schemes and “good” work of the Modi government, it was also the job of the party workers that people should know about these programmes.
