Police Commissioner imposes prohibitory orders in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad city police has imposed prohibitory orders.
Al kind of meetings, rallies, processions and speeches are prohibited between 19 August 0.00 hours and 2 September 4.00 pm.
City Police Commissioner, in a notification Thursday, said that, the prohibitory orders have been imposed to maintain law and order.
Police Commissioner also prohibited assembly of five or more persons in the police limits from August 19.
With the imposition of prohibitory orders, all kinds of dharnas, rallies, processions would be banned.
Possession, collection or use of Knife longer than 2.5 inch, weapons, sticks, swords, gun, sharp weapons, lathi, soti, stones, dangerous explosive things, provocative speeches, other kinds of speech that may create danger for security of state are prohibited between 26 August and 9 September.
Those who violate the prohibitory orders would be punished.
