Shri Somnath Mandir is all set to host thousands of visitors on second Somvar(Monday) of holy month of Shravan. Somvar has special importance in Shravan as it is dedicated to Mahadev.
On the 8th day of Shravan, Shri Somnath mandir received two Shehnais in gift after vaidik puja. Porbandar based sand artist Nathubhai Galchar has started making sand sculpture of Shiva outside the mandir.
On Monday, Zanz and Dakla group will perform at Shri Somnath mandir campus in the evening. Local singer Bhikhubhai Akhia will sing Shiv bhajan with his group.
